1952

The second Cathell reunion was held at Cool Springs Park on August 3, 1952.
The election of officers were as follows: President- Clarence Cathell, Secretary & Treasurer-Mrs. Gladys Funk, Program Committee- Bert Cathell.
A prize was given to the oldest person, the yougest child, for the persons that came the farest, and one to the latest married couple (these people were not identified in the minutes)
The amount spent was $4.00, collections for the day, $17.70, proprietor was paid $5.00--Total in treasury $17.13.

1953

The third annual Cathell reunion was held at Cool Springs Park on August 2, 1953 with an attendance of around 150.
Music was furnished by Iky De Prospero of Morgantown. Presents were presented to the oldest person, youngest, youngest married couple and the one traveling the fartherest.
Balance in treasury for last year $17.13, collected this year $9.00, paid to proprietor $4.00, paid for presents $4.54, balance in treasury $17.59.

1954

The fourth annual Cathell reunion was held at Cool Springs Park on August 1, 1954 with an attendance of around 200 persons.
Music was provided by Iky De Prospero and group singing was enjoyed by all.
The following officers were installed for the coming year. President- Bert Cathell, Vice President- Ruth Hovatter, Sec. & Treasurer- Mary Sanders, Program Committee- Merle Lowe, Gladys Funk,Myrtle Talbot.
Presents were presented to Uncle Joe Cathell, the oldest person, David Wayne Cathell, the youngest baby. Mr. & Mrs. Glendon Britton, the newest married couple, Dale Funk, coming the fartherest.
Balance in treasury for last year $17.59, collected this year $15.17, paid the music $5.00, paid to proprietor $4.00, paid for presents $8.36, balance in treasury $14.40, August 1, 1954.

1955

The fifth annual Cathell reunion was held at Cool Springs Park August 7, 1955. Due to weather conditions the same officers were left in for the coming year. The Britton and Cathell families combined will hold there reunion together on the first Sunday in August for the next year. The Britton family will have there own officers and program.
Balance in treasury $14.40, money collected for 55-$13.13, money spent for 55-$13.30, Balance in treasury $14.23, August 7, 1955.

1956

A large number of friends, relatives and members of the Cathell family gathered at Cool Spring Park for their annual reunion. Music and entertainment were furnished by Iky De Prospero of Morgantown. It was voted to hold the 1957 reunion at the same place on the first Sunday in August.
Officers elected for the coming year are as follows, President-Bert Cathell, Vice President- Pete Cathell, Secretary & Treasurer- Mitchell Cathell
Balance in treasury $14.23, Money spent for gifts by Mary Sanders $8.72, Amount paid to proprietor $5.00, Money collected $15.51, Balance $16.02.

Cathell Reunion-Music One of Outing's Features

ROWLESBURG-The annual Cathell Reunion was held on Sunday at Cool Springs Park. Special music was provided by Ike DePospero and Henry D'Amico of Morgantown, and there was group singing by groups of the family.
Officers elected were president, Bert Cathell; vice president, Ruth Hovatter; secretary-treasurer Mary Saners; program committee, Merle Lowe, Gladys Funk and Myrtle Talbert.
Gifts were presented to the oldest, Joseph Cathell; the youngest David Wayne Cathell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell Cathell; the couple coming the farthest, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Funk, of Lorain, Ohio.
It was voted to hold the reunion at the same place on the first Sunday in August next year.
