2008 - Rowlesburg Park-Mary Serena Cathell Goodwin (of Harry-Stewart-Platt). Mary lives on her family farm at Meadland, Taylor Co., WV. She was the oldest person attending the 2008 reunion .
In the middle is Rich Cathell, Chesapeake Virginia. Rich is a retired career Navy man. He is the son of Charley and May Cathell and the grandson of Sarah and Platt. On the left is Vernon Cathell and on the right is Gerry Lee Cathell from the Stewart Hall Cathell line.
Carl Mitchell Cathell-"Mitch" (of Clarence-George-Platt). On right is red and white blouse is his wife Dorothy Bernard Cathell. Mitch is an accomplished wood carver and retired from B&O and Chessie System. Mitch and Dorothy (this author's parents) live in Oakland MD.
On left-Blaine Harrison Britton (of Roy Mitchell Britton-Bertha Cathell Britton-George-Platt). Blaine owns the Harris and Bertha Cathell Britton farm in Green Valley. He formerly worked for Greer Limestone. on right Carl Mitchell Cathell.
On left, Paul F. Cathell (of James-George-Platt), Paul's wife Charlotte Hendershot Cathell, and Blaine Britton. Paul and Charlotte are from Bridgeport, Harrison Co. WV and still maintain the George and Sarah Cathell farm at Green Valley. Paul is retired from Union Carbide (now GrafTech International), Anmoore WV.
Left, Gerald L. "Jerry" Cathell, his sister Linda Cathell Shirley and Denny Shirley. Jerry is the signal supervisor for the West End of the former B&O railroad, now CSX Transportation, he lives in Keyser WV. Linda and Denny Shirley are from Derwood Maryland, Denny works for the federal government. Jerry and Linda's line back is Gerald L "Pete" Cathell, Charley and Platt)
On left is Gerald Lincoln "Pete" Cathell. Pete is a son of Charley and May Cathell, he is a grandson of Platt and Sarah Cathell. Pete is retired from the B&O Railroad and lives in Keyser WV. He maintains the Platt Cathell homestead in Green Valley.
Mr. and Mrs. Paul Bolyard from Red Rock. Mr. Bolyard mother was Dora Cathell, daughter of Joseph (son of Platt and Sarah Cathlell) and Eunice Funk Cathell.
Charlie Cathell of the John Cathell line . Charles passed away on May 7, 2010.
